Hola Leyland Tandil,

Hello Leyland Tandil,
I posted an entry on the Australian HCVC forum, and the following has been established:
- You most likely have the 150 hp unit ("O 680", pre "Powerplus" version).
- Valve clearances are definetly 0.020 inches on both Inlet and Exhaust, adjusted when the engine is cold.
- This firm in Sydney may have some parts:
http://www.mrmotorparts.com.au/ - The engine number should be stamped on a plate at the back of the motor just behind the injector pump there somewhere in the middle of the left side of the engine. Or along the left sump rail, around the oil pressure relief valve, which is bolted on at the back bottom corner of the block with a large acorn nut on it.
- Brake pressure should be 115-120 pounds per square inch (psi),
- Clutch and handbrake run at reduced pressure of 60 to 65psi.
- Injection was adjusted at 26 degrees before top dead center, but there is a method involving putting a plunger through the flywheel which I am still trying to clarify.
- One of the forum members has a workshop manual for the LAD (cab over engine) models which used the same engine and he is prepared to scan the relevant pages if you have specific questions.
I hope this helps further.
Happy new year!
