The six point star is from Henschel, annother possibilty is that they used a ex-army chassis and they put in a henschel diesel engine to replace the old petrol engine, this was common practice here in Holland. Buy a used ex-army GMC truck, buy a new Henschel 90 HP diesel and start trucking I think this because I don't recocnise the cab as a Henschel cab. they looked a bit different in 1955. |

thats exactly what I meant. thanks... because Henschel repaired a lot of GMC's after WW2, they got a lot of ideas which they used in their own trucks later. The all terrain trucks build by them were unbeatable... |

that is one of the used models of cabs. Its indeed possible that these marks used Henschel components. Henschel-Sura, never heard of it, can you tell me more about that?? |

the Rubel has a different cab as the Henschel HS 11, but there are some things that are similar. Like the grill look a bit similar and the type looks the same, Henschel also has a HS 11, but I haven't got any pics.. these things you tell me now aren't told in the 'official' Henschel literature. thanks for the info. here is a pic of a similar Henschel model. Any idea of there are any in excistence??? |
